Isaiah Mulang’ Onando

Dr. Mulang’ is currently involved in AI research at IBM Research Africa. His current work involves Parameter Effective Finetuning of Large Language Models for Text to SQL generation. He has experience working in the areas of Foundation Models, Deep learning, and Subgroup Analysis. Mulang’ holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Bonn, Germany with concentration in Knowledge Context for Entity and Relation Linking; bridging the gap between the Natural Language Processing (NLP) and the Semantic Web communities by designing approaches and tools for the disambiguation of entities and relations in text to Knowledge Graphs (KGs), directly applicable to conversational AI systems such as question answering and dialogue systems, chatbots as well as automated  KG construction, and population.
