Agustin Moreno

Agustin is a Junior Professor in the symplectic working group at Heidelberg University, Germany, as part of the Research Station for Geometry & Dynamics. He is a member of the STRUCTURES interdisciplinary cluster of excellence, and also a Member of the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS), in Princeton, NJ, USA, working with Prof. Helmut Hofer. Agustin was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow at Uppsala Universitet, in Uppsala, Sweden, forming part of the research group headed by Dr. Tobias Ekholm. Before, he had a Junior Research Fellowship at the Mittag-Leffler Institute in Djursholm, Sweden. He was also a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Augsburg Universität, in Augsburg, Germany, in the Department of Mathematics, forming part of the chair of Analysis and Geometry, headed by Dr. Kai Cieliebak. In October 2018, he obtained his Ph.D. (Dr. Rer. Nat.) in Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, in Berlin, Germany, in the Department of Mathematics, under the supervision of Dr. Chris Wendl, and by affiliation with the Berlin Mathematical School (BMS). He also did a two years Ph.D. program at University College London (UCL), London, UK.
