Jean Claude Tumushime

Jean Claude is a health scientist with a background in animal health. His undergraduate studies were in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Rwanda and he holds a master’s degree in Wildlife Health from Makerere University-Uganda. Jean Claude’s research interest is to understand the epidemiology of emerging infectious diseases at the human-animal interface. He is interested in applying data science approaches to understand and forecast the emergence of infectious diseases that originate from animals and affect humans.
