N’guessan Landry Regis Gnankan

Regis is a Ph.D. student whose work in AI focuses on Speech and Language Processing. With a background in mathematics and computer science as well as electrical and computer engineering, he loves to use science to solve problems with high social impact such as the development of intelligent assistants for local African languages. He is also a DIY and technology enthusiast, with regular interventions at the Google DevFest and hackathons won as the Prototype Design for Makers. He also evolves in the world of fablabs. Regis likes to do sports, especially Thai boxing, and reading manga and comic books. As a free thinker, his ambition is to contribute to making Africa a true Wakanda through his scientific work.
