Abdulmajid Osumanu holds a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Waterloo (UW), Canada. His thesis at UW explored the relation between quantum gravity and topological quantum computation. Presently, Abdulmajid is an AIMS-Carnegie Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Quantum Leap Africa (QLA). Before his current position, he was a Research Associate at UW from September 2019 to December 2019.
