At Quantum Leap Africa, we understand that the growth and development of Africa in various sectors, such as health, education, and agriculture, is closely tied to advancements in science and technology. Our data science research team is dedicated to driving progress in data science from both theoretical and practical perspectives. To further this goal, we have created the “From Theory to Practice (T2P)” workshop in Data Science. The objective of this workshop is to provide a platform for discussing and exploring cutting-edge data science topics that are relevant to addressing business, health, education, agriculture, engineering, and societal issues. Topics covered in the workshop include, but are not limited to, artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistics, quantum machine learning, and computational engineering.

The “From Theory to Practice” workshop is a yearly event held in Kigali, Rwanda. It brings together experts from academia and industry, as well as young researchers and practitioners, to foster an environment of exchanging scientific ideas and industrial projects, and to facilitate the formation of new collaborations. The goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice and advance the field of data science.
